Chanel Cambon Rouge Coco Review

Every woman knows how hard it is to find a good red lipsticks. Not all lipsticks are alike and the minuscule amounts of blue or orange undertones can make or break it in wearability. I am lucky enough to have found my perfect partner in lipstick crime: Chanel Rouge Coco in Cambon. I saw this shade in a magazine worn by Christina Hendricks and was immediately intrigued. She has similar coloring to my own and she looked AMAZING in it. I rushed right over to Chanel and had to try it for myself.

  • Packaging: .12 oz. This is a lipstick in Chanel’s signature square tube with logo top.
  • Price: $32.50 at nordstroms.com
  • Color Payoff: This is a blue based red that is incredibly pigmented. You don’t need a lot of product for a big payoff.
  • Verdict: This lipstick is definitely worth the cost for me to have the perfect red lip. A little goes a long way with this, so I can see this lasting a long time for me. The formula is very creamy and stays put. I found that my lips were red all day without reapplication. It leaves a subtle stain behind, which I prefer with most darker lipstick shades. Red lipsticks are always ones I think you should try before you buy, and this is definitely worth checking out the next time you are at a Chanel counter.
