Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish Review

After reading all the rave reviews about Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains, I knew I had to try them for myself. Revlon has always been my top tier drugstore beauty brand because their products are pigmented and perform very well for the price point. Just Bitten Balm Stains are no different.

  • Packaging: .095 oz in a plastic, twist up chubby pencil container. The packaging is very similar to Tarte Lipsurgence Balms.
  • Price: $6.74 at cvs.com
  • Color Payoff: This is a bright blue pink with a slightly glossy finish. The color applies very opaquely, but can be sheered out or built up.
  • Verdict: These may be my favorite drug store lip products I have ever tried. The packaging makes this balm stain easy to apply and I love the pigmentation. I expected to have to pack product on for the color to show, but that wasn’t the case at all. The color payoff is very similar to a MAC or other high end product. The color lasted 7 hours, with a slight fade around the 4 hour mark. It stayed on through eating, drinking coffee, AND hot Texas weather. I couldn’t believe it. Lip products almost never last this long on me. Just Bitten has a different form than other lip stains and is moisturizing and smooth while others just dry out my lips. If you are looking for a good lip stain with tons of color payoff and lasting power, look no further than your local drugstore’s Revlon section.
