Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you my thoughts on Revlon’s Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Enchanted. The steely pinks and purples drew my eye to this palette in the store and I was especially drawn to the “Color 3″ in the palette (bottom left corner). Sadly, this palette also fell short of my expectations.
Revlon’s Description:
Silky smooth, blendable powder shadow that won’t crease fade or smudge.Wears up to 16 hours. Color coordinated quads provide expert mix and match ability for your most gorgeous eyes ever.
- Packaging: .16 oz in a plastic quad with dual ended eyeshadow applicator.
- Price: $7.49 at Drugstore.com
- Color Payoff: This is quad features 4 shades to create a smoky pink look. Unlike the Brazen quad, this palette’s lighter shadows perform well, while the darker colors lack pigmentation.
- Verdict: I just don’t think these palettes and I will ever get along. In both Revlon shadow palettes, 2 colors perform very well, while the other two are just “blah!” When applied all together (following the diagram), the colors look muted, washed out, and all over silvery grey. This palette actually reminds me of past experiences with Bobbi Brown palettes which also lack color payoff and get very muddled when worn. The lasting power is great for all 4 shadows, though I’d say 12 hours instead of the 16 advertised. All in all, I would not recommend this palette for purchase as Revlon is on the higher end of the Drugstore price spectrum and Enchanted isn’t worth it.

Great Review!!! I always get sucked in by palettes. They just look SO pretty.
